Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished. - Lao Tzu
Welcome to my site! This website has been many years in the perfecting and I absolutely love what it has finally become! Over the past decade (or two!), I have found myself looking around at what is going on in the world, how people are living their lives, and how different it feels from what seems like just a short time ago when the world wasn't so crazy. It feels like everyone is racing to get to somewhere and they don't even know where they are going or why they are running so quickly thru their lives. I seem to shake my head a lot and think WOW! Are we really here? (and I'm not even that old yet!!)
It is then that I turn with gratitude to the Simple Natural Authentic life I have created and choose to live each day (yes, some days are harder than others!). In finding peace in this simplicity, I also found a desire to share this information with others who, like me, want to live a slower, simpler, more natural joy filled life. Thus, this site has come full circle in hopes of providing a place to those interested in learning how to slow down and live differently: authentically, simply, naturally & joyously with each and every day a best day ever!
Whether you need a bit more balance or inspiration, or perhaps some information on how to organize and design your space Feng Shui style, or maybe you want some ideas on how to live a bit healthier, you've come to the right place! Here you can enjoy some morning yoga videos or evening meditations, listen to a Podcast, or read a blog. Whatever area of your life you determine needs attention right now, you can find inspiration & information on it here!
It is my hopes that this Website, Podcast and all of the information will be a jumping off point for you to begin your own journey to living a Simple - Natural - Authentic Life. Your best life, each and every day, each and every moment, true to you & full of all the joy and beauty life has to offer!
Our Simple Natural Life
The exact look of Living a Simple - Natural - Authentic life is a bit different for everyone. For me, getting to the country with a bit of space around me and settling into a life of simplicity and oneness with myself, my daughter, and the Earth was an amazing (all be it sometimes precarious) journey to my authentic life! A journey that took a bit longer than planned, but is proving quite fun and
educational along the way!
We now spend our days enjoying, caring for and creating our "semi-country" house, settling in for long winter days of wonderful reads, enjoying hot cups of herbal tea or golden milk, spending time in the garden, (or in winter, planning the garden), renovating and designing that perfect something, learning & schooling together and loving & laughing each and every day. Our 1952 cottage in the woods is a work in progress (as you will see) and the do-it-yourself
projects have been frustrating, educational and rewarding!
Simplicity and health are woven into our days in the country, leaving time and space for the nothing, thus creating our balance! We cherish and reflect on all we have and all that is around us, truly seeing the beauty in the small and simple.
Here, we avoid chaos, drama, and confusion, opting instead for a life of peace, tranquility, and happiness.
We found our way back to the basics, honoring our values & traditions, keeping life sweet and simple and enjoying the reward of authentic living!
We are truly inspired in all we do, and hope you enjoy spending time with this site! Stop by often, visiting with us on our journey and using it to help you find your own way to a Simple Natural Authentic life!

And the wind said,
"May you be strong as the Oak,
yet flexible as the Birch.
May you stand as tall as the Redwood,
live gracefully as the Willow,
and may you always bear fruit
all the days on this Earth”.
